More than just a mental health company, more than just a career

At PMC we’re nimble enough to develop breakthrough ideas and established enough to execute and refine them. We love the work we do and understand that our people need to be listened to, supported and thanked for the work they do. We want you to be your best, whether that’s during the workday or not.

Hear From Our Team

amanda
“This job has been so good for my nurse's soul. We are doing the right thing for our patients because it is the right thing. Where I came from before PMC everything was based on money and staffing ratios, never what was best for the patient, and it was frustrating and hard to thrive in that kind of position. With PMC it is totally the opposite. We have people to reach out to for help. We are encouraged to free think. We are allowed flexibility to grow our program and do community education the ways we feel work the best in our own community.”

Program Director, Abilene KS

“Being an OPC, my days are never the same, for there is something different to do each day and I like that. I work with some amazing staff, we work hard, we laugh, we get the job done in a timely manner.”

“I really enjoy the work/life balance that PMC offers. Our teams work hard and accomplish a lot, but without having to sacrifice time with family or miss important moments. The leadership team here gets it.”

“When I left PMC, I knew someday I would come back. PMC is an amazing organization that not only provides mental health services to our communities, which is a passion of mine, but they also treat their employees like family. I love that I get to come to work everyday to a position I truly enjoy. As a nurse, I am able to utilize my medical and mental health skills on a daily basis.”

PMC’s Diversity Equity And Inclusion (DEI) Council

What is the Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Council, and how did it start?

Kindness and accountability define PMC’s culture. Part of being kind and accountable is creating a work environment that encourages team members to be their authentic selves and creating a safe space. Diversity, equity, and inclusion, or DEI, have always been a part of PMC’s culture. Our culture is instilled with a mindset that promotes belonging, inclusion, empathy, compassion, acceptance, and security. By cultivating and embracing the concepts of DEI, PMC can continue to foster and develop leaders who are more authentic, secure, and better able to connect with, understand, and support each other.

Currently, our company is growing! We are serving more communities, changing more lives, and welcoming more new team members than ever before. We felt this was the perfect time to form our DEI Council with this new growth. By continuing to create an atmosphere and culture that is more welcoming to a diverse group of people, we will create a more healing environment.

PMC’s DEI council is a space where staff from all divisions discuss DEI growth opportunities and develop plans to bring about the cultural and possibly ethical changes necessary for PMC to continue being a kind and accountable workplace.

PMC’s DEI Council meets every second Tuesday of the month at 9 am CST. If you are a PMC employee and interested in applying to the council, please submit your application here.
