PMC’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Council

What is the Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Council, and how did it start?

Kindness and accountability define PMC’s culture. Part of being kind and accountable is creating a work environment that encourages team members to be their authentic selves and creating a safe space. Diversity, equity, and inclusion, or DEI, have always been a part of PMC’s culture. Our culture is instilled with a mindset that promotes belonging, inclusion, empathy, compassion, acceptance, and security. By cultivating and embracing the concepts of DEI, PMC can continue to foster and develop leaders who are more authentic, secure, and better able to connect with, understand, and support each other.

Currently, our company is growing! We are serving more communities, changing more lives, and welcoming more new team members than ever before. We felt this was the perfect time to form our DEI Council with this new growth. By continuing to create an atmosphere and culture that is more welcoming to a diverse group of people, we will create a more healing environment.

PMC’s DEI council is a space where staff from all divisions discuss DEI growth opportunities and develop plans to bring about the cultural and possibly ethical changes necessary for PMC to continue being a kind and accountable workplace.
