Nancy-Ann DeParle is a partner and co-founder of Consonance Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on investing in innovative health care companies in the lower middle-market. She is also a director of CVS Caremark, HCA Health, and Enclara Healthcare and served on the board of KEPRO. From 2011-January 2013, she was Assistant to the President and Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy in the Obama White House. A health policy expert, DeParle previously served as Counselor to the President and Director of the White House Office of Health Reform. She spearheaded President Obama’s successful effort to enact the Affordable Care Act and managed the initial implementation of the law.
From 2006-2009, DeParle was a Managing Director of CCMP Capital Advisors, a private equity firm, and a senior advisor to its predecessor, JPMorgan Partners, LLC. She was also a Senior Fellow at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a trustee or director of several corporate and non-profit boards. From 1997-2000, DeParle was Administrator of the agency now known as the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). She directed Medicare, Medicaid, and State Children’s Health Insurance (SCHIP), which provide health insurance for more than 105 million Americans at an annual cost of $870 billion. Earlier in her career, she served as Associate Director for Health and Personnel at the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB), and as Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Human Services.
A native of Rockwood, Tennessee, DeParle received a B.A. with highest honors from the University of Tennessee, where she was Student Body President, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. She also received a B.A. and M.A. in Politics and Economics from Balliol College of Oxford University, where she was a Rhodes Scholar.
Faith Trussell, a board certified psychiatric and mental health Nnurse, joined PMC in 2013 as program director for a Senior Life Solutions program in Missouri. She led the program from its opening to a thriving two-track program that was named Western Region Program of the Year in 2015 and National Program of the Year in 2016. She trained many Senior Life Solutions teams and corporate staff at her site, and created a standardized orientation process for all new PMC staff. In 2017, she joined the corporate clinical team, and in 2018 became the clinical services director. She is responsible for training and ensuring clinical compliance in all PMC intensive outpatient programs.
Faith’s healthcare experience is rich and varied. Early in her career, she provided healthcare services to people in the mountains of Bolivia, South America, where she lived for eight years. Upon her return to the U.S., she worked as a wound care nurse in Long Term Care, and as a CNA/CMT instructor. She also taught high school health for several years along with Spanish, drama, choir and other classes, but discovered her calling in 2009 when she began practicing psychiatric nursing.
Faith holds a B.S. in nursing from MidAmerica Nazarene University and a M.S. in nursing from Aspen University in Denver CO. She is also a certified compassion fatigue professional.
Erika Nail joined PMC in December of 2016 as a program director for a Senior Life Solutions Program in Carrolton, MO. In 2017, she transferred to a Senior Life Solutions program in Excelsior Springs, MO, where she was most recently a program director.
Prior to joining PMC, Erika provided contract services with Tri-County Mental Health Services for 14 years. She served on a mobile crisis response team where she responded to individuals who were experiencing a behavioral health crisis 24 hours a day 7 days a week. She also provided responsive, trauma-informed crisis intervention via phone, and face to face at Excelsior Springs Hospital and Ray County Hospital emergency departments.
Erika is a Qualified Substance Abuse Professional (QSAP) and was a substance abuse counselor for the Ray County Drug Court. She holds her B.S. in Human Services and Sociology from Park University and her M.S. in Counseling from Webster University. Erika is also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
Molly began her employment with PMC as a therapist at Senior Life Solutions in Osage, IA. Molly comes to PMC with experience in working with individuals in mental health and wellness. Most recently, she was the regional therapist where she worked with five different regions securing PRN coverage, supervising and training PRN therapists, credentialing the PRN therapists at their designated hospitals, and providing PRN therapy coverage for Senior Life Solutions.
Prior to PMC and Senior Life Solutions, Molly was a licensed social worker who provided inpatient and outpatient mental health services including individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and IOP therapy.
Molly earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, IA and is a Licensed Independent Social Worker.
Lindsey Hash, LCSW, joined PMC in 2016 when she began working as a PRN therapist for Senior Life Solutions. She then transitioned to a full-time therapist for the Senior Life Solutions program in Richmond, MO, where she spent two years. In 2018, Lindsey received a promotion where she became the Program Director for Senior Life Solutions in Excelsior Springs, MO, and held that position for three years. In November 2021, she became a Regional Clinical Specialist.
Lindsey brings varied experience in outpatient group and individual therapy, substance abuse treatment, and case management for adults and children with mental illnesses.
Lindsey earned her B.S. and M.S. in Social Work from the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Jessica Couch, Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse, joined PMC’s corporate team as a Regional Director for PMC’s inpatient division in May of 2019 and became Regional Clinical Director in July of 2020. Most recently, she was an inpatient nurse leader on a 46-bed behavioral health and addictions unit. She previously worked for PMC as a Program Director and assisted with the opening of the very first Senior Life Solutions program in the state of Indiana. Jessica comes to PMC with extensive behavioral health inpatient experience that includes child/adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. She is a strong mental health awareness advocate and desires to see the barriers to mental health broken down.
Jessica started her nursing career in the labor and delivery arena and began dabbling in the behavioral health side of nursing where she found her niche and passion. She worked on the direct care, utilization review, and case management side prior to taking leadership roles. She was an integral part of the development and opening of a 12-bed geriatric behavioral health unit and a 46-bed adult behavioral health and addictions unit. She has steered multiple deficient free regulatory audits throughout her career. Jessica enjoys building strong teams that are patient-centered and driven to help those that are having difficulty using their own voice to help themselves.
Jessica earned her B.S. degree in Nursing from Western Governors University in Millcreek, UT, and her M.S. degree in Healthcare Leadership and Management. She is also a certified Acudetox Specialist.
Tamika Tyus, Board Certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse, joined PMC’s corporate team in August 2020 as a Regional Clinical Director for the inpatient division. Tamika comes to PMC with over 13 years of behavioral health experience in which she served in a leadership role for 12 of those years.
Prior to joining PMC, Tamika worked at the Parthenon Pavilion where she initially started as a frontline nurse on a memory care unit, but through her devotion and compassion for her patients, Tamika quickly advanced to be the manager of the unit and later to the role of Director of Nursing.
Tamika obtained her B.S. in Nursing and her M.S. in Nursing Leadership and Management at Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Lisa Sheppard, MSN, RN, is PMC’s Quality Assurance and Risk Manager. Lisa focuses on providing clinical support for our teams by developing system-wide quality and risk processes and ensuring clinical compliance.
Lisa comes to the PMC corporate team from her position as inpatient psychiatric program director, where her leadership guided the care of more than 800 patients experiencing mental health crises annually. Lisa’s extensive experience in hospital leadership, patient-care operations, and clinical care make her a resource for PMC teams on their quality journey. While most of Lisa’s 20 years of nursing experience is in the hospital environment, she has also worked in home health, hospice, and clinic settings and has served as adjunct nursing faculty. Through her various areas of nursing experience, Lisa realized her true passion in nursing lies in ensuring those experiencing mental health concerns have access to evidence-based and high-quality mental health care.
Lisa started her nursing career as a licensed practical nurse and then advanced to a Registered Nurse. In 2020, she completed a Nurse Executive Master’s of Science in Nursing degree from Walden University.
Jill Kreimeyer, LMHC, is PMC’s Regional Therapist, providing service for multiple regions within PMC. Jill holds over ten years of therapy experience and first joined PMC in October 2018 as a Program Therapist in Hampton, IA. In 2020, Jill was awarded PMC’s Therapist of the Year award.
Before joining PMC, Jill spent seven years primarily with patients referred to mental health services by the Department of Corrections, Department of Human Services, probation officers, and county and federal courts. Jill has completed multiple training courses and certifications for trauma-related disorders, including EMDR and Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist. Jill is experienced in individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and couple’s therapy.
Jill earned her Master’s in Education with a mental health emphasis from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, IA, graduating with high honors. Jill was licensed in Iowa as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
Katrina Metzger is a regional therapist for PMC’s Senior Life Solutions division.
Katrina initially joined the PMC as a PRN therapist in July 2022 and was hired as an additional regional therapist in February of 2023. Before joining PMC Katrina worked as a therapist in multiple settings including a juvenile correctional system, a school system, a psychiatric residential program, and a child welfare center.
Katrina earned a bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation services from Emporia State University in Emporia, KS. She then acquired her master of social work degree from Washburn University in Topeka, KS. Katrina holds a social work license in multiple states.
